メデューサのことを入学生に知らせる／Medusa op de UIT-markt / Medusa promotion for new students in Utrecht

今週は入学生のために大学・ユトレヒト市などの導入があった。
メデューサ女子合唱部で、火曜日と水曜日は忙しかった！
火曜日には、大学の文化会舘で音楽部はコンサートをした。3人で、小さなコンサートをした（夏コンサートの色んな歌を歌った）。この文化会舘で、メデューサは毎週練習をしている（夏休みには練習がないけど）。
水曜日には、入学生のために大学の部活はマーケットでプレゼンテーションした。

Deze week vond de Utrechtse Introductie Tijd voor aankomende studenten plaats. Studentenvrouwenkoor Medusa heeft ook nieuwe leden nodig, dus dinsdag en woensdag ben ik druk bezig geweest met promotie!
Op dinsdag vond het “Cultureel Cafe” in Parnassos plaats. Parnassos is het culturele centrum van de Universiteit Utrecht, en is ook de locatie waar Medusa elke week repeteert (niet in de zomervakantie natuurlijk). Hier hadden we ‘s avonds een half uurtje om iets te vertellen en hebben we een aantal stukken van het zomerconcert gezongen. Omdat we maar met ons drieën waren, konden we natuurlijk niet alles zingen.
Op woensdag stond ik de hele dag op de UIT-markt (op het sportveld naast de Botanische Tuinen op de Uithof). We hadden vanalles op de kraam gelegd: CDs en programmaboekjes van voorgaande concerten, bladmuziek van afgelopen zomerconcert, Fruitella-snoepjes in de kleuren van Medusa (paars en groen, en nog een paar extra gele snoepjes), foto’s van onze koorreis naar Marseille en natuurlijk de nieuwe flyers die ik heb gemaakt.

This week was an introduction week for new students in the city of Utrecht. Female students choir “Medusa” also needed more members, so I was busy with the promotional activities on Tuesday and Wednesday!
On Tuesday there was the “Cultural Cafe” in Parnassos, the cultural centre of Utrecht University. This is also the place where Medusa practices every week (not in the summer holiday). In the evening we had half an hour to tell the public a bit about Medusa and we sang several songs from our summer concert (not everything, as we were only with three people).
On Wednesday, there was the market where all student organizations had a stand to present themselves to the new students. We had brought a lot of things with us: CDs, sheet music, sweets in the Medusa colours (purple and green, and some extra yellow ones), photos of our choir trip to France, and of course the new flyers I made.
