時々、メデューサの練習でケーキなどがある！この練習で、私はファッジを作った。他の女性はカップケーキを作った。美味しかった～～♪
Aan het begin van het schooljaar houden we altijd open repetities bij Medusa. En dan is er natuurlijk zelfgebakken cake! Ik had fudge gemaakt, iemand anders cupcakes. En allemaal heel lekker natuurlijk～～♪
At the beginning of the school year, the Medusa practice evenings are free to try out for everyone! Which of course includes home-baked sweets like cupcakes or fudge! It all tasted very good of course～～♪
最近はメデューサ合唱部のこと沢山書いていた。12月23日のコンサートのために、沢山の練習が必要！
ヒートホールンの近くで金曜日の夕べから日曜日まで練習した。土曜日はヒートホールンのレストランで食べに行った。
De laatste tijd schrijf ik regelmatig over Medusa, het koor waar ik bij zing. Voor ons concert op 23 december moeten we natuurlijk ook veel oefenen!
Ons repetitieweekend was van vrijdagavond t/m zondag vlakbij Giethoorn, dus daar waren we zaterdagavond ook naar een restaurant gegaan.
Lately I’ve written a lot on this blog about Medusa, the choir I’m a part of. For our concert on December 23, of course we also have to practice a lot!
Our practice weekend was from Friday evening till Sunday near Giethoorn, so we went to a restaurant there on Saturday evening.
メデューサ合唱部とヒートホールンに行った時は17時半ぐらい。すぐに暗くなってきたけど、まだ沢山の綺麗な所が見えた。他の観光をしていた人はこんな時間にもう出ていた・・・だから写真でヒートホールンは忙しくなかった！
Tijdens het Medusa-repetitieweekend, kwamen we rond half 6 in Giethoorn aan. Het werd wel snel donker, maar we hebben toch nog mooi even rond kunnen wandelen en leuke foto’s kunnen maken! Verreweg de meeste toeristen waren al huiswaarts gekeerd, dus het was inderdaad even rustig als het op de foto’s lijkt te zijn!
During the practice weekend with Medusa choir, we arrived around half past 5 in Giethoorn. It became dark quite soon, but we were able to walk around when there was still some daylight and take some nice photos as well! Most tourists had already returned home, so it was indeed as quiet as the photos make it seem!
ドイツのデュッセルドルフ街で、『オキニー』と言うお寿司レストランで食べに行った。iPadから食物を選えた。前に行ったオランダのハウテンにある『東』と同じようなレストランだった。オキニーはとても人気なレストランだった！とても忙しかった。
In Düsseldorf zijn we gaan eten bij het sushi-restaurant “Okinii“, waar je je bestelling via een iPad kon doorgeven. Net als bij Azuma in Houten, kon je ook hier binnen een bepaalde tijd zoveel eten bestellen als je wilde. Het was wel een populair restaurant – er stond namelijk een rij tot aan buiten op straat (pas ontstaan toen wij al zaten, dus wij waren net op tijd binnen).
When we visited Düsseldorf, we went to eat in the sushi restaurant “Okinii“, where you could place your order by iPad. Just as in Azuma in Houten (The Netherlands), here you could also order as much as you wanted within a certain timeframe. It was quite a popular restaurant – people waited in a line that continued outside the restaurant (which started when we were already seated, so we were inside just in time).
１０月の最後の週末にはヒートホールンの近くでメデューサ合唱部と２日間の練習をした。ヒートホールンはオランダの有名な水郷の村だから、土曜日の夕べにはあそこへ行った！１７時半ぐらいヒートホールンに着いて、他の観光をしていた人は出ていた・・・あの時間にはヒートホールンは忙しくなかった！
でも、ヒートホールンの博物館「デ・アウデ・アールデ」（意味は「古い世界」、石の博物館）が１８時まで開けていた。博物館の店で１０分だけで見えたけど！私も石を買った・・・（セレナイト）
その後はヒートホールンで歩いて他の所を観光した。私は前のヒートホールンに行った時、船で観光した。
In het laatste weekend van oktober gingen we met Medusa een weekendje repeteren in de buurt van Giethoorn. Op zaterdagavond gingen we daar dan ook naartoe!
We kwamen rond half zes ‘s avonds bij Giethoorn aan. Het was erg rustig, omdat bijna alle toeristen toen alweer vertrokken.
Het museum “De Oude Aarde” (met fossielen en stenen) zou ook om zes uur sluiten. Daar zijn we dus niet naar binnen gegaan, maar we konden de laatste tien minuten nog wel in de museumwinkel rondlopen (ik kon het toch niet laten om een stukje seleniet te kopen…).

We practiced for the upcoming concert on both Saturday and Sunday, but we also visited Giethoorn on Saturday evening! We arrived in Giethoorn around half past five. Most of the tourists had already returned home, so there was hardly anyone in the streets.
Giethoorn’s famous museum “De Oude Aarde” (“The Old Earth”, with fossils and stones) closed at 6 PM, so we didn’t visit the museum anymore. However, we did spend the last ten minutes of their opening hours in the museum shop! I couldn’t resist buying a selenite stone…
１０月の最後の週末にはヒートホールンの近くでメデューサ合唱部と２日間の練習をした。ヒートホールンはオランダの有名な水郷の村だから、土曜日の夕べにはあそこへ行った！
「スミット・ヒートホールン」と言うレストランで食べに行った。入るとき、とても忙しかった。でも後１５分ぐらい、他の人は皆出ていた！「バー回り」をしていた：一つのバーで一つのビールを飲んで、次のバーに行って、一つのビールを飲んで、次のバー・・・など。
このレストランの食べ物はとても美味しかった！ヒートホールンに行ったら、ここで食べるのが良い（＾－＾）

We zijn gaan eten in het restaurant “Smit Giethoorn“. Toen we daar binnenkwamen was het heel druk, omdat er een kroegentocht bezig was. Al snel ging de kroegentocht echter verder en waren wij de enige groep in het restaurant. We bestelden voorgerechten, hoofdgerechten en nagerechten en het was allemaal superlekker! Echt een aanrader als je in Giethoorn bent 🙂

We went to eat dinner in the restaurant called “Smit Giethoorn“. When we entered that restaurant, it was very busy, because it was part of a “bar trip” (in which a group of people enters a bar, drinks a beer, goes to the next bar, drinks a beer, and so on…). However, soon the bar trip group moved on and we were the only ones left in the restaurant. Everything we ordered tasted very nice, so I recommend going here for dinner when you visit Giethoorn 🙂
スーパーの5年記念日だったから、お店の前で皆は無料のポッフェルチュスを食べられた！
Omdat deze vestiging van de Hoogvliet-supermarkt vijf jaar bestaat, hadden ze buiten een poffertjeskraam neergezet! Iedereen kon gratis een portie poffertjes halen 🙂
Because the local supermarket celebrated its five-year-anniversary, they put a poffertjes stand outside where everyone could get poffertjes for free!
１０月２７日（木）の夕べにはメデューサ合唱部と一緒に「Museum Catharijneconvent」と言う博物館で３つの短いコンサートを歌っていた（毎回同じ歌）。キリスト教の博物館だったから、このコンサートの歌は殆ど全部キリスト教の歌だった。
Op donderdagavond 27 oktober gaven we met Medusa drie kleine concerten tijdens de tentoonstelling “Heilig Schrift” in het Museum Catharijneconvent. Omdat het een museum met christelijke kunst is, hadden we ons repertoire daar op afgestemd.
On the evening of October 27th, Medusa gave three small concerts during an exhibition in Museum Catharijneconvent. As it was a museum about Christian art, most of the songs we sang were Christian as well.
