ロンドンの「ケンジントン・ガーデンズ」はとても大きな公園です。晴れるときには散歩が良い所です！

“Kensington Gardens” is een heel groot park in Londen. Leuk om te wandelen als het niet regent 🙂

ロンドンのウェストミンスター宮殿とビッグ・ベン／London: Westminster Palace + Big Ben

ロンドンのウェストミンスター宮殿のタワー（エリザベス塔）にある大時鐘の名前は「ビッグ・ベン」。タワーも夜の時に綺麗！
ウェストミンスター宮殿の周りで歩いたけど、中には入らなかった。

De grote klok in de toren (Elizabeth Tower) van Westminster Palace heet “Big Ben“. Ook ‘s nachts ziet de toren er mooi uit 🙂
We zijn wel rond het gebouw gelopen, maar niet naar binnen gegaan.

The bell in the tower (Elizabeth Tower) of Westminster Palace is called the “Big Ben“. At night, the tower also looks quite pretty!
We didn’t go inside Westminster Palace, but we did walk around the building.

ロンドン地下鉄 / London Underground

ロンドンに行くとき、地下鉄はとても便利！でも、広告が本当にたくさんある・・・沢山すぎる！ビデオの広告も沢山ある。

Als je naar Londen gaat, is de metro superhandig! Alleen word je wel volgespamd met reclame… Ook veel bewegende reclame.

When you go to London, the Underground is very useful! However, you are bombarded by lots and lots of advertisements… Even moving video advertisements!

ロンドンのセント・ポール大聖堂 / London: St. Paul’s Cathedral

ロンドンのセント・ポール大聖堂はテムズ川の近くにある協会です。中には写真が撮れなかったけど、外も綺麗！
大聖堂の中でも小さなレストランがある（「クリプト・カフェ」）。

St. Paul’s Cathedral ligt vlakbij de Thames-rivier. Binnen mocht je helaas geen foto’s maken, maar de buitenkant is ook erg mooi 🙂
In de kerk zit ook een “Crypt Cafe”, waar je iets kan eten en drinken.

St. Paul’s Cathedral is quite close to the Thames river. You weren’t allowed to take photos inside, but I did take a few of the outside, which is very pretty as well 🙂
Inside, there’s also a “Crypt Cafe” where you can eat and drink a bit.

オランダで日本の布団を買う／Japanse futon kopen in Nederland / Buying a Japanese futon in the Netherlands

オランダのアムステルダムで、二つのお店日本の布団を買える。
両方のお店で布団も桂も売っている。
Katja　Futon（カチャ布団）は自分で布団を作っている！すごいだと思った。作り方は日本と同じそう。（オランダ語で、「カチャ」は女の名前）
KODAMA（コダマ）のお店で他の日本のものも売っている（障子、ふすま、畳・・・）。
お店で布団をやってみたかったら、先に（オランダ語か英語で）電話するほうが良い。

In Amsterdam zijn er twee winkels waar je Japanse futons kan kopen. Beide winkels verkopen zowel de futons (matrassen) als kussens (gevuld met boekweitkorrels).
Bij Katja Futon worden de futons zelf gemaakt, op de Japanse manier!
Kodama verkoopt ook veel andere Japanse interieur-elementen, zoals schuifdeuren en tatami-matten.
Verder is het wel handig om de winkels te bellen als je wil komen proefliggen.

In Amsterdam, The Netherlands, there are two shops where you can buy Japanese futons. Both shops sell the futons (mattresses) and cushions (filled with buckwheat hulls).
At Katja Futon, the futons are made on location, Japanese style!
Kodama also sells a lot of other Japanese interior items, like sliding doors and tatami mats.
If you want to try out their futons, it’s smart to call in advance (in Dutch or English).

ロンドンのチャイナタウン（中華街）／London: Chinatown

ロンドンのチャイナタウンはそんなに大きくない（2つの道だけ）。もちろん中国風の鳥居がある（３つ！）。そして中国料理のレストランいっぱいある。小さなスーパーも見たけど、行ったときは夜だったから入れなかった。
チャイナタウンのサイトもあるけど、中国語と英語だけ。

Londen heeft een kleine Chinatown (2 straten in een T-vorm, met aan alle uiteinden een Chinese poort). Er waren voornamelijk restaurants te vinden, maar ook een kleine supermarkt (die al gesloten was op het moment dat we er langs liepen).
Chinatown Londen heeft zelfs een website met de activiteiten die daar gehouden worden, maar die is alleen in het Engels en Chinees.

London has a small Chinatown (only two streets in a T-shape, with a Chinese gate at all the entrances). It mostly consists of restaurants, but there is also a small supermarket (which was already closed when we were there).
Chinatown London also has a website where they list their activities and events.
