Cambridge is wel een mooi dorp om in rond te wandelen! Veel mooie gebouwen en niet zo druk 🙂

Cambridge is a nice village for sightseeing! Lots of pretty buildings and not too busy 🙂

ロンドンの道／Straten van Londen / Streets of London

ロンドンに歩いて、もちろん沢山の「イギリスらしい」道がある・・・下の写真はロンドンのどこでもに撮った。

Hieronder staan een aantal foto’s van de straten van Londen, op verschillende locaties genomen tijdens het rondwandelen.

Below are some photos of the streets in Londen I took while walking around.

ケンブリッジ：キングス・カレッジ／Cambridge: King’s College

ロンドンから電車に乗って、後１時間ぐらいケンブリッジの街に着く。
ケンブリッジの大学が一番有名。街のどこでも大学の建物が見える。自転車も沢山！ケンブリッジの大学生はやっぱり自転車が良く使う。
下の写真は有名な「キングス・カレッジ」で撮った。中には入れなかった。チャペルには入ったけど、中の写真は撮れなかった。

Op ongeveer een uur reizen met de trein vanaf Londen ligt het plaatsje Cambridge. De universiteit is natuurlijk het bekendste, en als je door Cambridge loopt kom je overal universiteitsgebouwen tegen. En fietsen! Blijkbaar ook in Cambridge een populair studentenvervoersmiddel (niet alleen in Nederland dus…).
Op de foto’s hieronder staat King’s College. We zijn alleen de kapel ingeweest, maar daar mocht je geen foto’s maken.

If you take the train from London, it takes about an hour to reach Cambridge. Of course Cambridge’s university is most famous, and when you walk around Cambridge you come across a lot of university buildings. And bicycles! Apparently also a popular way of transport for students here…
On the photos below you can see King’s College. We only went into the chapel, but you weren’t allowed to take photos there.

テムズ川 ／ De Thames-rivier / The river Thames

ロンドンに行くとき、テムズ川の船に乗って色んな有名な建物が見える（地下鉄よりも面白い）。例えば「ザ・シャード」、タワーブリッジとビッグ・ベン。

In Londen kun je natuurlijk ook met een boottochtje over de Thames mee (in plaats van de metro te nemen). Je komt bijvoorbeeld langs The Shard, de Tower Bridge en de Big Ben.

In London you can also take a short boat tour on the Thames (instead of taking the Underground). For example, you pass The Shard, the Tower Bridge and the Big Ben.

ロンドン・アイ / London Eye

テムズ川の隣で135メートル高い観覧車がある：「ロンドン・アイ」。
出来たら、夜に乗るほうが良い！街の景色が暗いときにとても綺麗です（昼の景色はシャードから見た）。

Naast de rivier de Thames staat een reuzenrad van 135 meter hoog: de “London Eye“.
Als het lukt, ga dan ‘s avonds als het donker is in het reuzenrad! Het uitzicht op de stad is dan erg mooi (en voor het uitzicht overdag kun je ook naar de Shard).

Next to the Thames river there’s a ferris wheel of 135 meters high: the “London Eye“.
If you can, ride the ferris wheel when it’s dark! The outview over the city is very pretty then (and for the view during daytime, you can go to the Shard).

メデューサ合唱部とお城祭／Castlefest met Medusa / Castlefest with Medusa

8月6日、私は彼氏とメデューサ合唱部の３人と一緒にリッセの「お城祭」に行った。
このブログの写真は私とアイリスが撮った。

Op 6 augustus ben ik met mijn vriend en drie meiden van Medusa naar Castlefest in Lisse gegaan. De foto’s op deze pagina zijn zowel door mij als door Iris genomen.

On August 6th, I went to Castlefest in Lisse together with my boyfriend and three girls from Medusa.
The photos on this page have been taken by both me and Iris.

ラパリェのコンサート前、ラパリェのウィリアムが肉バーガーを焼いていた！右上の写真はラパリェのコンサートの時に撮った。
去年と同じエドワード・ティーグも出会った！私を覚えていた（＾－＾）
他のコスチュームを着ている人も沢山いた。私も剣を持っていたから、「指輪物語」のナズグールと戦った・・・！私の剣は写真で良く見えないけど、レイピアの剣です（アルクマールで住んでいる人が50年前スペインのトレドで買ったレプリカ、本物は15～１８世紀で使っていた。私はこのレイピアを買った）。
そして私が好きなシリーズ「ソードアート・オンライン」の人もいた！

Vlak voor het concert van Rapalje zagen we dat William burgers stond te bakken! De foto linksboven is daarna genomen tijdens het concert.
Ook kwamen we dezelfde Edward Teague tegen als vorig jaar! Hij herkende mij ook nog 🙂
Er waren veel mensen in kostuum. Ik had zelf ook een zwaard bij en raakte in “gevecht” met een Nazgûl uit Lord of the Rings :O
Op de foto’s kan je mijn zwaard niet echt goed zien, maar het is een rapier-type (een replica van de rapiers die van de 15e tot 18e eeuw werden gebruikt, uit Toledo, Spanje, 50 jaar geleden gekocht door iemand uit Alkmaar en ik heb ‘m overgekocht).
Verder waren er ook een aantal mensen die zich hadden verkleed als personages uit één van mijn favoriete series, Sword Art Online!

Just before the Rapalje concert, we saw William baking burgers! The photo on the top left has been taking during the Rapalje concert.
We also met the same Edward Teague as last year! He recognized me too 🙂
Many people were wearing costumes. I had also brought a sword with me and I got to “fight” with a Nazgûl from Lord of the Rings :O
On the photos you can’t see my sword very well, but it’s a rapier type (a replica of the rapiers which were used from the 15th through 18th century, from Toledo, Spain, bought 50 years ago by someone from Alkmaar, which I then bought from him).
There were also a number of people dressed as characters from one of my favourite series, Sword Art Online!
