ハリーポッター・スタジオの入口／Ingang van de Harry Potter Studios / Entrance to the Harry Potter Studios

ロンドンのリーブスデン・スタジオで、ハリーポッターの映画で使ったものがいっぱいある！
今週から12月まで、毎週の月曜日と木曜日にはスタジオの写真をアップロードする。3時間ぐらいでスタジオの全部が見えるけど、写真撮りすぎ・・・

In de Leavesden Studios aan de noordkant van Londen staat een hele tentoonstelling met spullen uit de Harry Potter-films.
Vanaf deze week t/m december zal ik elke week op maandag en donderdag foto’s van deze Harry Potter Studios plaatsen. Je loopt in ongeveer drie uur door alles heen, maar ik heb een beetje veel foto’s genomen…

At the Leavesden Studios north of London, there’s a large, permanent Harry Potter exhibition with lots of items from the Harry Potter movies.
Starting this week and ending in december, I will upload photos of these Studios each Monday and Thursday. It takes about three hours to walk through the entire exhibition, but I took slightly too many photos…

グリニッジ天文台 / Greenwich Royal Observatory

もちろん、グリニッジ天文台にも行った！博物館はとても面白かった。周りの公園も綺麗だった。

Natuurlijk zijn we ook naar de Greenwich Royal Observatory gegaan! Het museum daar was heel interessant, zeker een bezoekje waard 🙂 Het park eromheen was ook mooi.

Of course we also went to the Greenwich Royal Observatory! The museum there was very interesting, certainly worth visiting 🙂 The park surrounding the observatory was nice as well.

国立民族学博物館 / Museum Volkenkunde / Ethnology Museum

今日はライデン市にある国立民族学博物館に行った。今は大きな日本文化の博覧会があるから、見に行こうと思った。

Vandaag zijn we naar Museum Volkenkunde in Leiden geweest, omdat ze nu de tentoonstelling “Cool Japan” hebben: een expositie met allerlei dingen uit Japan.

Today we went to the National Museum of Ethnology in Leiden, because they currently have an exposition called “Cool Japan”, showing many extra objects from Japan.

日本の絵、そして中国と日本の書道。

この博物館で、19世紀の日本のものが沢山ある。茶道のものも！
In het Museum Volkenkunde zijn vooral dingen uit 19e-eeuws Japan te vinden. Onder andere ook een oud theeceremoniesetje!
Most Japanese items you can find in this museum are from the 19th century, among them an old tea ceremony set!

鎧と刀、そして普通の着物、そして履けない靴もあった。
Wapenuitrustingen en zwaarden, kimono en schoenen die je niet echt kan dragen.
Armour and swords, kimono, and shoes you can’t really wear.

アイヌの服と靴とかもあった。
Er was ook kleding, schoenen, etc. van de Ainu te vinden.
The museum also put some clothes, shoes, weapons and other things from the Ainu on display.

日本のアニメ、漫画、ロボットとゲームもあった。
Er werd ook aandacht besteed aan de Japanse tekenfilms, strips, robots en spellen.
You could also find things about Japanese animation, comics, games and robots in the exhibition.

勿論、出島のこともあった！壊れたものは長崎の博物館から。
Dejima ontbreekt natuurlijk ook niet in dit museum! De gebroken voorwerpen zijn in bruikleen van het museum in Nagasaki.
Of course the museum isn’t complete without something on Dejima as well! The broken wares are borrowed from the museum in Nagasaki.

グリニッジの観光／Rondwandelen in Greenwich / Sightseeing in Greenwich

ロンドンの東でグリニッジの街がある。
グリニッジの色んなところへ歩いて観光をした。川の隣で大きな船があった（船の中でレストランがあった）。

Ten oosten van Londen ligt het plaatsje Greenwich. Leuk om een dagje rond te wandelen! Naast de rivier lag bijvoorbeeld een groot schip, waar een restaurant in zat.

East of London, we visited the village of Greenwich. Nice to walk around here for a day! Next to the river was a large ship, inside which there was a restaurant.

キングス・クロス駅9¾番線の店／De winkel van perron 9¾ op King’s Cross station / Platform 9¾ store at King’s Cross station

キングス・クロス駅でもハリーポッターの店がある。お店の前で写真が撮れる（マフラーの色は自分で決める）。お店の中で写真が買えるけど、自分でも撮れる！お店の中で写真が買える。

Op King’s Cross station hebben ze natuurlijk ook een winkel met Harry Potter-spullen… Voor de winkel staat een karretje in de muur waar je een foto kan laten maken, maar je mag zelf ook foto’s maken. Ze hebben ook vier kleuren sjaals, waarvan je mag kiezen welke je wil gebruiken voor de foto. In de winkel kun je de foto dan kopen.

Of course there’s also a Harry Potter shop at King’s Cross station. There’s a photo location in front of the store where you can have your photo taken with a scarf of your choice (they have all four House colours). They allow you to take your own photos as well 🙂 You can buy the photo inside the store.

ロンドンで洗濯する／Kleding wassen in Londen / Laundry in London

長い間ロンドンで泊まるとき、洗濯することも必要・・・でも、ホテルで服を洗うのは高すぎて！
そしたら、安いところのPitfield Streetである「Salzman Laundry」で洗濯した。

Als je langere tijd in Londen verblijft, moet je ook wel eens kleding wassen… Maar in het hotel　was het te duur om veel kleding te wassen!
We hebben toen een goedkope wasserette gevonden op Pitfield Street, namelijk “Salzman Laundry”.

When you’re staying in London for a longer period, you have to wash your clothes sometimes… But the laundry service in the hotel was too expensive for many clothes!
We then found a cheaper place to wash everything: “Salzman Laundry” at Pitfield Street.

キングス・クロス駅 / King’s Cross station

ロンドンのキングス・クロス駅はとてもおおきくて、とても綺麗な駅です。上のレストランでも美味しい食べ物が買える！
ハリーポッターの映の9¾番線は4番線と5番線のところで撮った。本当の9番線と10番線は駅の他の建物である・・・

King’s Cross station in Londen is erg groot en mooi. De restaurantjes die op de bovenverdieping van het station zitten, vielen ook niet tegen 🙂
Natuurlijk is dit station ook bekend uit Harry Potter… Maar voor perron 9¾ hebben ze in de films het stuk tussen perron 4 en 5 gebruikt, omdat de echte perrons 9 en 10 in een ander gebouw van het station zitten.

King’s Cross station in Londen is a very big station and also a pretty one. The restaurants at the upper floor didn’t disappoing either 🙂
Of course this station was also used in the Harry Potter movies… But they used the part between platforms 4 and 5 as the entrance to platform 9¾, as the real platform 9 and 10 are located in one of the station’s other buildings.

ハウテンのインドネシア・マーケット／Pasar Malam in Houten / Indonesian market in Houten

ハウテン街で、8月19日に「パサール・マラム」と言うインドネシアのマーケットがあった。インドネシアの食べ物と服などが売っていた。そしてインドネシアの音楽とダンスもあった。

In Houten was er vorige maand 19 augustus een kleine Pasar Malam. Ze verkochten veel Indonesisch eten, kleding, sieraden, etc. Ook stond er een podium, waar een dansshow werd gegeven en er Indonesische muziek werd gespeeld/gezongen.

Last month, August 19th, there was a small 「Pasar Malam in Houten. Most stands sold Indonesian food, but you could also buy clothes, jewelry, and other things. There was also a stage where a group showed Indonesian dances and Indonesian music was played and sung.

夜のケンブリッジ／Cambridge in het donker / Cambridge by night

先週はお昼のケンブリッジで観光した。でも、夜のケンブリッジも綺麗！

Vorige week wandelden we overdag door Cambridge, maar ‘s nachts ziet Cambridge er ook mooi uit!

Last week we walked around Cambridge by day, but by night Cambridge looks very nice as well!

ハリーポッターの劇場／Harry Potter theater／Harry Potter theatre

『ハリー・ポッターと呪いの子』の劇場も見た！本のカバーにあるイメージが劇場の入り口の上にある。入らなかったけど。

Het theater waar “Harry Potter en het vervloekte kind” speelde, hebben we ook gezien! De afbeelding die op de voorkant van het boek staat, stond boven de ingang van het theater. We zijn echter niet naar binnen gegaan.

We als saw the theatre where “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” was playing. The image on the book’s front cover is located above the entrance. However, we didn’t go inside.
