三居沢水力発電所の隣、小さな堂がある：三居沢不動尊。行ったとき、誰もいなかった。
Naast de Sankyozawa Water Power Plant in Sendai, staat een klein tempeltje: Sankyozawa Fudou. Wij waren de enige bezoekers op dat moment.
Next to the Sankyozawa Water Power Plant in Sendai, there’s a small temple: Sankyozawa Fudou. We were the only visitors at that time.
スタジアムの中には入れなかったから、回りに歩いた。猫も見た！オランダらしくの自転車ロードもあった。
We konden het stadion niet in, dus we hebben er een rondje omheen gelopen. We zagen toen ook een paar katten! En ook een fietspad net zoals in Nederland.
We couldn’t enter the stadium, so we walked around it. We also saw some cats then! And also a bicycle road just like in the Netherlands.
仙台に着いた日、「うまい鮨勘」でうまい寿司を食べた！コップも時計も気に入った。
Op de dag dat we in Sendai aankwamen, hebben we in “Umai Sushikan” heeeeeeeel erg lekkere sushi gegeten! Het bekertje voor de thee en de klok vond ik ook erg leuk.
On the day we arrived in Sendai, we ate veeeeery delicious sushi in “Umai Sushikan“! I also liked the tea cup and the clock.
仙台駅を出て、右にすぐPARCOの白い建物でポケモンセンターが見つける：「ポケモンセンタートウホク」。
特別な北日本のポケモンのものが買える。
ここでもトゲピーを探していた。仙台のポケモンセンターだけで買えるボタンがあった！上の写真の右下で見える。
Als je station Sendai uitloopt aan de stadskant, kun je aan de rechterkant in het hoge witte PARCO-gebouw het Pokemon Center van Sendai vinden: Pokémon Center Touhoku.
Hier kun je speciale Pokémon-dingen met het thema van Noord-Japan kopen.
Ook hier heb ik gekeken of ze Togepi-dingen hadden. En dat was zo, namelijk een button met Togepi erop! Die staat rechtsonder op het fotoblokje hierboven.
When you exit Sendai station at the city side, you can see the high white PARCO building on the right. There you can find the Pokémon Center of Sendai: Pokémon Center Touhoku.
Here you can find special Northern Japan-themed items.
I also tried to find Togepi things here, which they had! A cute little button, which you can see on the bottom right photo of the photo-square at the top of this blog.
私はカラオケが好きから、仙台で住んでいる友達と一緒に「アニソン酒場2nd」に行った。自分で見つかれないと思う！
このカフェのテーマは「アニメ」！フィギュアもポスターも沢山ある。
カラオケの歌は日本語も英語も（アニメの歌だけじゃない）。
欲しかったら、カフェにいる時、コスプレも着れる。
Omdat ik wel van karaoke hou, ben ik samen met een vriendin die in Sendai woont, naar “Anison sakaba 2nd” gegaan. Zelf had ik deze plaats waarschijnlijk nooit gevonden!
Het thema van dit café is “anime”. Overal staan bijvoorbeeld plastic poppetjes van personages uit allerlei series en er hangen posters aan de muur.
De karaoke-liedjes zijn zowel in het Japans als in het Engels, niet alleen maar van anime-series.
En als je wil, kun je voor de tijd dat je in het café bent, ook een kostuum huren en dragen van een personage.
Because I like karaoke, I went to “Anison sakaba 2nd” together with a friend who lives in Sendai. I wouldn’t have found this location on my own!
The theme of this café is “anime”. It’s decorated with plastic figures of characters from many different anime series and there are posters on the wall.
The karaoke songs are in both Japanese and English, not just anime songs.
And if you want, you can rent a costume and wear it for the duration of your stay in the café.
普通はバスで仙台の観光をするけど、時々歩いたら、綺麗な景色の写真が撮れる！
今は広瀬川の写真を撮った。
De normale manier om de toeristische plaatsen in Sendai te bezoeken, is met de bus. Soms is wandelen echter ook een goed idee!
Dan kun je bijvoorbeeld foto’s maken van mooie locaties waar de bus niet stopt, zoals de Hirose-rivier.
The normal way to get to all of Sendai’s tourist locations, is by bus.
However, sometimes it’s also a good idea to walk! Then you can take photos of pretty locations like the Hirose river.
仙台に行って、もちろん牛タンを食べてみたかった！
どこでも買える（牛タンにぎりも見た）けど、仙台駅の近くの「牛たん炭焼 利久 西口本店」で美味しい牛タンを食べた。
Sendai staat bekend om koeientong (“gyuutan“). We hebben het geprobeerd in één van de vestigingen van de restaurantketen “Rikyuu“, vlakbij Sendai station.
Het smaakt best lekker, maar wel een beetje als een dun biefstukje.
Sendai is known for its cow tongue (“gyuutan“). We tried it in one of the restaurants of the restaurant chain called “Rikyuu“, near Sendai station.
It tasted quite good, but it did taste a bit like a thin slice of steak.
仙台駅1階で、「ジュピター」と言うお店でオランダのストロープワッフルのクッキーを見つけた！！！ちょっと高いけど、本物の味で美味しい！
In Sendai station op de begane grond kun je de winkel “Jupiter” vinden. Hier verkopen ze allerlei buitenlands eten, ook uit Nederland! We vonden hier bijvoorbeeld stroopwafels. Beetje duur, maar wel echt zoals ze ook in Nederland smaken 🙂
Inside Sendai station on the ground floor, you can find a store called “Jupiter“. Here, they sell all kinds of foreign foods, for example stroopwafels (cookies) from the Netherlands! They’re a bit expensive, but they do taste like they do in the Netherlands 🙂
