2018年に浅草に泊まったとき、増田園総本店で「桜茶」（桜葉入り緑茶）を買った。
ロックダウンがあったから、1年間半も新しいお茶を買わなくて、家で持っているお茶は全部飲んでいる。この「桜茶」も！
桜茶の味は普通の緑茶と違う。柔らかい味でとても美味しい！
3年間前に買った桜茶は５０gだったけど、今は３gx8袋で買える。
Toen ik in 2018 in Asakusa (Tokyo) verbleef, heb ik bij de groene-thee-winkel Masudaen “sakura-thee” (groene thee met sakura-blaadjes) gekocht.
Vanwege de lockdown ben ik nu al anderhalf jaar alle thee uit mijn kast aan het opdrinken, waaronder dus ook deze sakura-thee!
De smaak is wel echt anders dan van gewone sencha (groene thee). Het heeft een lekkere zachte smaak, wel een aanrader om mee te nemen als je het een keer ziet liggen in een winkel!
Deze zak, die ik dus drie jaar geleden heb gekocht, was 50 gram. Ze verkopen de sakura-thee nu in voorgevulde theezakjes van 8 zakjes met 3 gram thee.

De doek met sakura-bloemen heb ik meegenomen uit Japan.
Het kattenkommetje heb ik gekocht bij een kraampje op Animecon in Den Haag.
De theefilters komen van Simon Lévelt.
Het kopje met “茶” (thee) erop, heeft opa in Nederland gekocht.

I got the sakura fabric in Japan.
I bought the cat bowl at Animecon in The Hague (The Netherlands).
The tea filters came from the Simon Lévelt store.
The glass with “茶” (tea) on it, was bought by my grandfather in The Netherlands.
When I stayed in Asakusa back in 2018, I bought sakura tea (green tea with sakura leaves) at Masudaen Green Tea Shop.
Because of the lockdown, I haven’t bought any new tea for the past 1.5 years, but I’ve been using up what I already had at home, which also included this sakura tea.
The taste is actually different from normal sencha (green tea), quite soft and delicious, so I certainly recommend it if you happen to come across it in a store!
Three years ago I bought it in a bag of 50 gr, but now it is sold in 8 pre-filled teabags of 3 gr.
