ファスナーを入れる／Rits inzetten / Putting in a zipper

１。ファスナーの入りたいところに、二つの生地の表を一緒にテーブルにおく。
ファスナーを生地の隣において、下止のちょっと上に針を生地に入れる。
生地の上から下まで縫うけど、生地の上に前後縫わない。針のちょっと下に前後に縫って、下まで縫い続く。

1. Leg de twee lappen aan elkaar op de plaats waar de rits moet komen. Leg de rits ernaast en steek een horizontale speld op de plaats net boven het ijzertje van de rits.
Begin wel bovenaan de stof met naaien, maar NIET vasthechten (voor-en-achteruit naaien) aan het begin van de stof, maar pas net NA de horizontale speld. Naai vanaf de bovenkant tot helemaal aan de onderkant van de lappen.

1, Take the two pieces of fabric and carefully put them on top of eachother (right sides together). Put the zipper next to the fabric and put a pin horizontally at the same height of the small iron part of the zipper (just above the iron part).
Start sewing at the top of the fabric, but DON’T go back and forth at the beginning. DO go back and forth AFTER the horizontal pin. Sew until the bottom of the pieces of fabric.

２。生地もファスナーも開いて、ファスナーのテープ（右か左のテープ）を針で生地に付く。

2. Vouw de stof open, maak de rits open en speld de ene helft vast op de stof.

2. Fold open the fabric, open the zipper and pin one side of the zipper to the fabric.

３。ミシンのファスナー押えを使って、ファスナーの一つのテープを生地に縫う。下止のちょっと上に縫い止まって、ミシンの針を生地のおく。

3. Naai de ene helft van de rits op de stof (gebruik een ritsvoetje). Stop net VOOR het ijzertje, laat de naald in de stof.

3. Sew this half of the zipper to the fabric (use a zipper foot). Stop just BEFORE the little iron square, leave the needle in the fabric.

４。ファスナーを閉めて、生地を９０度回る。

4. Sluit de rits en draai de stof 90 graden net voor het ijzertje.

4. Close the zipper and turn the fabric 90 degrees (just before the iron part).

５。注意にファスナーの上に縫って、また生地を９０度回って、ファスナーの他のテープを生地に縫う。

5. Naai voorzichtig over de rits heen (eventueel met de hand aan het wiel van de naaimachine draaien) en draai daarna weer 90 graden om de rest van de rits vast te naaien.

5. Carefully sew over the zipper (if necessary, turn the sewing machine wheel by hand) and then turn the fabric 90 degrees again to sew the other half of the zipper to the fabric.

６。注意にファスナーを生地に縫う。便利だったら、スライダーは動ける。

6. Naai voorzichtig langs de rits (eventueel het trekkertje van de rits weer verschuiven).

6. Carefully sew past the zipper (if necessary, move the puller).

７。生地の上に、前後に縫う。

7. Aan het einde vasthechten.

7. When you’re at the edge of the fabric, sew back and forth a bit.

８。ファスナーの下止まで、生地の真ん中にある糸を取る。

8. Maak de naad in het midden los tot aan het ijzertje.

8. Remove the thread in the middle, until you reach the iron part of the zipper.

９。そうしてから、ファスナーは開ける。

9. Dan kan je de rits helemaal open doen.

9. Then you can open the zipper entirely.

１０。そして閉める。

10. En weer dicht.

10. And close it again.

１１。生地の中はアイロンで綺麗にする。

11. Strijk de stof aan de binnenkant plat.

11. Iron flat the fabric on the inside.

１２。一つの側で、生地を切る。

12. Knip aan 1 kant de stof tot bijna aan de naad eraf.

12. On one side, cut off the fabric near the thread.

１３。他の側は2回折って、針を入れる。

13. Vouw de grote rand 2x om en speld het vast.

13. Fold the large edge twice and pin it to the rest of the fabric.

１４。ファスナーの下耳も入れる。

14. Vouw het stukje stof bij de rits ook ertussen.

14. Also fold in the piece of fabric near the zipper.

１５。生地は下にするように、ファスナーの下耳の上に縫う。

15. Naai over het einde van de rits heen, zodat de stof eronder blijft zitten.

15. Sew over the end of the zipper, so the fabric stays under it.

１６。他の折った生地も縫う。

16. Naai ook de rest van de stof vast.

16. Now sew the rest of the fabric as well.

１７。表から見る。

17. Zo ziet het er dan uit aan de buitenkant.

メデューサ合唱部とお城祭／Castlefest met Medusa / Castlefest with Medusa

8月6日、私は彼氏とメデューサ合唱部の３人と一緒にリッセの「お城祭」に行った。
このブログの写真は私とアイリスが撮った。

Op 6 augustus ben ik met mijn vriend en drie meiden van Medusa naar Castlefest in Lisse gegaan. De foto’s op deze pagina zijn zowel door mij als door Iris genomen.

On August 6th, I went to Castlefest in Lisse together with my boyfriend and three girls from Medusa.
The photos on this page have been taken by both me and Iris.

ラパリェのコンサート前、ラパリェのウィリアムが肉バーガーを焼いていた！右上の写真はラパリェのコンサートの時に撮った。
去年と同じエドワード・ティーグも出会った！私を覚えていた（＾－＾）
他のコスチュームを着ている人も沢山いた。私も剣を持っていたから、「指輪物語」のナズグールと戦った・・・！私の剣は写真で良く見えないけど、レイピアの剣です（アルクマールで住んでいる人が50年前スペインのトレドで買ったレプリカ、本物は15～１８世紀で使っていた。私はこのレイピアを買った）。
そして私が好きなシリーズ「ソードアート・オンライン」の人もいた！

Vlak voor het concert van Rapalje zagen we dat William burgers stond te bakken! De foto linksboven is daarna genomen tijdens het concert.
Ook kwamen we dezelfde Edward Teague tegen als vorig jaar! Hij herkende mij ook nog 🙂
Er waren veel mensen in kostuum. Ik had zelf ook een zwaard bij en raakte in “gevecht” met een Nazgûl uit Lord of the Rings :O
Op de foto’s kan je mijn zwaard niet echt goed zien, maar het is een rapier-type (een replica van de rapiers die van de 15e tot 18e eeuw werden gebruikt, uit Toledo, Spanje, 50 jaar geleden gekocht door iemand uit Alkmaar en ik heb ‘m overgekocht).
Verder waren er ook een aantal mensen die zich hadden verkleed als personages uit één van mijn favoriete series, Sword Art Online!

Just before the Rapalje concert, we saw William baking burgers! The photo on the top left has been taking during the Rapalje concert.
We also met the same Edward Teague as last year! He recognized me too 🙂
Many people were wearing costumes. I had also brought a sword with me and I got to “fight” with a Nazgûl from Lord of the Rings :O
On the photos you can’t see my sword very well, but it’s a rapier type (a replica of the rapiers which were used from the 15th through 18th century, from Toledo, Spain, bought 50 years ago by someone from Alkmaar, which I then bought from him).
There were also a number of people dressed as characters from one of my favourite series, Sword Art Online!

6月５日はメデューサ合唱部の小さなコンサートが大学の建物であった。コンサート後は庭で写真を撮った。
16日は大きな夏のコンサートはユトレヒトのドーミニカス協会であった。
次のビデオは協会で撮った。
私は両方のコンサートで着たドレスを自分で作った・・・

Op 5 juni hield Studentenvrouwenkoor Medusa een klein concert in Parnassos, een gebouw van de Universiteit Utrecht. Na het concert gingen we ook nog even naar de tuin om daar wat foto’s te maken!
Het grote zomerconcert was op 16 juni in de Dominicuskerk te Utrecht. De opnames hieronder zijn bij dat concert gemaakt.
En natuurlijk had ik bij beide concerten weer een zelfgemaakte jurk aan 😛

On June 5th, Female Students’ Choir Medusa held a small concert in Parnassos, a building owned by Utrecht University. After this concert we went to the garden to take some photos!
The large summer concert was at June 16th in the Dominicus Church in Utrecht. The videos below have been recorded during this concert.
Of course in both concerts I was wearing a dress I made myself 😛

「ムールプッテン」と言う沼地／”Moerputten”

スヘルトーヘンボスの近くで、「ムールプッテン」と言う沼地がある。沼地の周りでも普通の森がある。沼地ですから、蚊がいっぱい・・・でも、夏で蚊は今よりも多いそう。
蝶々の草地もあったけど、花がまだ咲いてないから蝶々も見えなかった！
橋は古い電車の橋。今は電車がもう乗らないから、歩くだけ。
私は景色の写真を撮って、友達のケース・ペーテルスは私の写真を撮った。自分で作った服を着ている（＾－＾）

Vlakbij Den Bosch zit een klein natuurgebied, genaamd “De Moerputten“. Een gedeelte is moerassig, dus daar zijn ook heel veel muggen… Maar in de zomer schijnen er nog meer muggen te zijn. Er is ook een vlinderweide, maar omdat er nog geen bloemen bloeiden, hebben we ook geen vlinders gezien.
De brug is een oude spoorbrug, dus daar rijden ook geen treinen meer overheen 🙂
Ik heb de foto’s van de natuur genomen, Kees Peters heeft de foto’s van mij genomen :P　Kleding zelfgemaakt natuurlijk (behalve de laarzen).

Close to Den Bosch there’s a small nature area called “De Moerputten”. Part of it is a swamp, so there were quite a few mosquitos… But apparently it’s worse in the summer. There’s also a butterfly meadow, but as there were no flowers in bloom yet, we didn’t see any butterflies.
The bridge is an old train bridge, so you could just walk on it 🙂
I took the photos of the surroundings, Kees Peters took photos of me 😛 Of course I made these clothes myself (except for the boots).

生地の裏でも綺麗に縫える／Mooie naden aan de binnenkant naaien / Sewing pretty seams on the inside as well

服を作るとき、ロックミシンがなかったら生地の裏も綺麗に縫いたい！
下の縫い方はドイツの古いパターン(Neue Mode S22873)で見つけた。
とても便利だと思ったから、描いた。

Ook zonder lockmachine wil je wel eens mooie naden aan de binnenkant van je kleding (als je die zelf maakt).
Onderstaande methode kwam ik tegen in een oud Duits patroon (Neue Mode S22873).
Ik vond ‘m zo handig, dat ik het hieronder heb getekend!

When you don’t have an overlock machine, sometimes you also want to have pretty seams on the inside of your clothes (when making them yourself).
I found the method below in an old German pattern (Neue Mode S22873).
Because it’s so useful, I drew it below!

（２）の糸は生地の中で縫う。（７）で、裏は２つの糸、前は１つ。
In stap 2 naai je aan de binnenkant. In stap 7 zitten er dan 2 naden aan de binnenkant en 1 naad aan de buitenkant.
In step 2 you sew on the inside. In step 7, there are 2 threads on the inside of the fabric and 1 on the outside.

スカートで刺繍／Rok met borduursel / Skirt with embroidery

刺繍付きのスカートを作っている。

スカートの布が薄かったから、刺繍をする前に接着芯地を貼った。形は紙で描いて、切って、黄色い鉛筆で形を接着芯地で描いた。そして簡単に刺繍の形が出来た!

Omdat de stof van de rok nogal dun is, plakte ik eerst vlieseline op de achterkant (vlieseline plakt aan 1 kant, als je het op een andere lap stof legt en er met de strijkbout overheen gaat). Daarna tekende ik het patroon op papier, sneed dat uit, en kon toen gemakkelijk het patroon weer op de vlieseline overtrekken (met geel kleurpotlood, omdat alle andere kleuren niet zichtbaar waren op de zwarte vlieseline). Het borduren van de patronen was toen natuurlijk niet meer zo lastig 🙂

Because the fabric of the skirt is quite thin, I first applied fusible interfacing (vlieseline) to the back side of the fabric. Then I drew the pattern on paper and cut it out, so I could trace the pattern onto the interfacing (with yellow pencil, as other colours weren’t visible on the black interfacing). Embroidering the patterns wasn’t very difficult then anymore!

Klaar! Nog wat detailfoto’s. Het t-shirt dat ik op het onderste fotootje aanheb, is trouwens gemaakt door mijn moeder in 2002.

エイントホーヴェンの縫い物・手作りの店 ／ ’t Smitje in Eindhoven

エイントホーヴェンで「’t Smitje」（ウット・スミッチェ）と言うお店がある。子供の本屋さんと同じ道にある。
縫う・刺繍・編むなどで使えるものは全部この店で買える。例えば糸、ボタン、色んなファスナー、生地（布）、レース、リボン、など。

私は生地はユトレヒトかヘルモントで買うけど、他の物はスミッチェで買うのが好き！

In Eindhoven, op de Kleine Berg (dezelfde straat als de Kinderboekwinkel), zit ‘t Smitje. Het lijkt een bruidswinkel, maar dat is maar een klein gedeelte van de winkel. Het grootste gedeelte is gevuld met allerlei handwerkbenodigdheden, voor naaien, borduren, breien, etc. De dingen die je er kan kopen zijn bijvoorbeeld garen, knopen, ritsen, andere sluitingen, stoffen, kant, linten, etc.

Voor stoffen ga ik het liefst naar Utrecht of Helmond, maar voor de rest van de benodigdheden vind ik ‘t Smitje een hele fijne winkel!

In Eindhoven, at the street called Kleine Berg (the same street as the children’s book store), there’s a store called ‘t Smitje. From the outside it looks like a bridal shop, but that’s only a small part of the store. Most of it is filled with things you might need for sewing, embroidery, knitting, etc. For example yarn, buttons, zippers, fabrics, lace, ribbons, etc.

For fabrics I like to go to Utrecht or Helmond, but for the other things I need when making clothes, I like to go to ‘t Smitje!

Tシャツを作る／Een t-shirt maken / Sewing a t-shirt

去年と今年の作ったTシャツ。
Het t-shirt dat ik vorig jaar had gemaakt, en de shirts van dit jaar.
The t-shirt I made last year, and the ones I made this year.

去年はブルダ６８２０のパターンを使ってTシャツを作った。日本でブルダのパターンは買えるかな？他のTシャツのパターンでも出来る。去年を使った生地の残りがあったから、また同じ生地で他のTシャツを作ることが出来た。ピンク色のTシャツ（新しい布）も作った。ピンクのシャツの写真は沢山撮った。

去年のちょうど同じシャツは作りたくなかったから、パターンをちょっと変わった：
・袖は３/４の長さにした。
・前の襟の形は正方形にした（後ろは丸い）。

パターンを変わる前に、普通のパターンを作る方が良い（同じ生地では一番良い）。

Vorig jaar had ik dit t-shirt gemaakt volgens dit patroon. De stof waarvan ik het shirt heb gemaakt is erg prettig en ik had nog wat over, dus ik kon er nog een t-shirt van maken. Ik wilde echter niet precies hetzelfde t-shirt maken, dus ik heb een paar dingen veranderd:
– driekwart-mouwen i.p.v. lange mouwen
– breder gat voor mijn hoofd en een vierkante halsuitsnijding aan de voorkant (de achterkant is wel rond)

Meestal pas ik patronen wel iets aan. Het is dan wel handig om het patroon al een keer gemaakt te hebben (van dezelfde soort stof), zodat je weet hoe het oorspronkelijke patroon valt.

Last I made this t-shirt following the Burda 6820 pattern. I still had some fabric left so I could make another shirt (the fabric I used is very nice to wear). However, I did not want to make the exact same t-shirt, so I changed two things:
– threequarter-length sleeves instead of full-length sleeves
– larger hole for my head and a square cut at the front (the backside is still round)

Most of the time I change things in patterns. It is useful to make the “normal” pattern once (of the same kind of fabric), so you know the way the original pattern fits you.

ブルダのパターンを切ったら、１.５センチの縫い代は自分で切る。
Bij Burda-patronen moet je zelf de zoom aanknippen, in tegenstelling tot bij Amerikaanse patronen (zoals bijvoorbeeld Simplicity), waar al 1,5 cm zoom in het patroon inbegrepen zit.
With German patterns like Burda, you have to add the seam allowance yourself. With American patterns (like Simplicity) there’s already 1.5 cm seam allowance included in the pattern pieces themselves.

刺繍をしたかったらかレースを付きたかったら、袖を作る前にそうする方が簡単。
襟でレースを付きたかったら、先に縫い代を縫う方が良い。

Als je wil borduren op de mouwen en/of er kant aan wil zetten: eerst borduren en kant eraan naaien, daarna pas de mouwen in elkaar zetten.
Voor kant op de halsrand: eerst de zoom omvouwen/vastnaaien en dan het kant erop naaien.

If you want to put embroidery on the sleeves and/or add lace: do that first, then make the sleeves.
For lace on the neckline: first fold the seam allowances and then sew the lace on.

このTシャツのパターンは簡単に変えた。注意のことは：襟の形変わったら、前と後ろのパターンの部分は肩でも同じ長さにする。

Dit t-shirtpatroon aanpassen was niet heel erg moeilijk. Waar je vooral op moet letten, is dat de stukjes bij de schouders van voor- en achterpand even lang zijn.

Adjusting this t-shirt pattern wasn’t very difficult, though you have to take care to make the back and front pattern pieces match at the shoulders.

襟の角で少し切って、畳んで縫える。この生地はほつれないから簡単に畳める。
Voor de vierkante hals had ik de hoekjes een stukje ingeknipt en daarna omgevouwen. Omdat ik al eerder een t-shirt van deze stof heb gemaakt en die ondertussen al vaak in de wasmachine heb gewassen, weet ik dat deze stof niet rafelt en omvouwen daarom genoeg is.

For the square neckline I cut into the corners so I could fold the fabric inwards. Because I made a t-shirt of this fabric before, which I’ve already washed quite a lot of times, I know this fabric doesn’t fray and thus folding it once is enough.

２０１５年で縫った物／Kleding en tassen gemaakt in 2015 / Things sewn in 2015

袋 / Tassen / Bags

来年の1月から、プラスチック袋はもう無料で貰えないから、自分で袋を持っていかなくてはいけない。
だから、お母さんの誕生日プレゼントで4つの袋を作っていた。

お土産袋も沢山作っていた。

Vanaf volgend jaar mogen winkels geen gratis plastic tasjes meer uitdelen, dus eigenlijk moet je dan zelf een tas mee gaan nemen. Vandaar dat ik voor de verjaardag van mijn moeder vier boodschappentassen heb gemaakt.

Verder heb ik dit jaar natuurlijk ook weer veel cadeauzakjes gemaakt!

In 2016 it will be forbidden for stores to give plastic bags away for free, so you need to bring your own bags. For that reason, I made four shopping bags for my mother as a birthday present.

Of course I also made a lot of gift bags this year.

ドレス / Jurken / Dresses

使ったパターンは「Butterick B6129」。
赤いのはパターンのように作った。生地はちょっと太いから、寒い春の日に着れる。
緑のドレスで、パターンを変わった。例えば、違うポケットを作った。
紫色のドレスは緑色と同じだけど、もっと長くに作った。

Het gebruikte patroon was hier Butterick B6129.
De rode jurk was gewoon de jurk volgens het patroon. Redelijk dikke stof, dus wel geschikt voor de wat koudere lentedagen.
Bij de groene jurk is het patroon aangepast, met o.a. andere zakken.
De paarse jurk is hetzelfde als de groene, alleen dan wat langer.

For these dresses, I used the pattern Butterick B6129 as a base.
The red dress is just the dress from the pattern, but the fabric I used qas quite thick, so it’s nice for the colder days in spring.
For the green dress, the patttern was changed. Among other things, the pockets are in a different place.

白いドレス / Witte jurk / White dress

使ったパターンは「McCall’s M6894」だったけど、とても変わった・・・
前の刺繍はこのドレスだった。

Voor deze jurk heb ik McCall’s M6894 gebruikt als basispatroon, maar best wel wat aangepast…
Het borduren waar ik eerder over schreef, was op deze jurk. De linkerfoto is gemaakt door Jill, de rechterfoto door Keukensprookjes.

For this dress I used McCall’s M6894 pattern, but changed quite a bit…
The embroidery I wrote about before, was on this dress.

黒いドレス / Zwarte jurk / Black dress

メデューサ合唱部のコンサートのために、新しい黒いドレスを作った。前に着たドレスは長いドレスだったから。
使ったパターンは「New Look 6046」。

Voor de Medusa–concerten van het winterseizoen, maakte ik een kort zwart jurkje volgens een zomerjurkpatroon (New Look 6046). Het is wel van dezelfde stof gemaakt als de lange Medusa-jurk die ik bij eerdere concerten droeg (zwarte taftzijde).

For the Medusa concerts of the winter season, I made a short black dress using a summer dress pattern (New Look 6046). I did use the same fabric as the long Medusa concert dress I wore at previous concerts.

頭巾付きの短い浴衣 / Korte kimono met capuchon / Short kimono with hood

浴衣のパターンで「Simplicity 4080」を使ったけど、短くに切った。「浴衣マント」を作るために、「Burda 7916」から頭巾を付いた。黒い髪の毛はカツラだけど、高校の時の髪型みたいと思った！

Het kimonopatroon is gebaseerd op Simplicity 4080, maar dan een stuk korter. Voor de kimonocape heb ik de capuchon van Burda 7916 eraan gezet. Ik draag hier natuurlijk wel een pruik, maar qua haarstijl lijkt het wel op hoe ik mijn haar op de middelbare school had 🙂 Foto’s door Chastten.

The kimono pattern is based on Simplicity 4080, but I made it shorter. For the kimono cape I attached the hood from the Burda 7916 pattern. Of course I’m wearing a wig here, but the hairstyle is similar to the one I had in high school 🙂

セーター / Truien / Sweaters

赤・黒のセーターは「Burda 6990」のパターンをそのままで作った（でも、Tシャツじゃなくてセーターの生地を使ってサイズもTシャツよりも大きい）。
緑・黒のセーターは赤いのと同じ、でも「Burda 7916」の頭巾とポケットを付けた。
その後はパンダのセーターを作った。セーターは「Burda 6990」、そして「Burda 7916」の頭巾を付いた。パンダの目・耳・鼻は黒い生地で切って、顔の丸は刺繍で作った。

De rood/zwarte trui is gewoon het patroon Burda 6990, maar dan een trui i.p.v. een t-shirt (dus ik gebruikte joggingstof en maakte een maatje groter).
De groen/zwarte trui is verder hetzelfde, maar daar heb ik de capuchon en zak van Burda 7916 aan toegevoegd (paste precies!).
Daarna heb ik de pandatrui gemaakt: Burda 6990 met de capuchon van Burda 7916. De ogen, oren en neus van de panda heb ik uit zwarte stof geknipt en het lijntje heb ik geborduurd.
De foto’s van de pandatrui zijn gemaakt door Keukensprookjes.

The red/black sweater is just the one from pattern Burda 6990, but then a sweater instead of a t-shirt (I used jogging fabric and made a size larger).
The green/black sweater is the same, but I added the hood and pocket from Burda 7916 (it fit exactly!).
Then I made the panda sweater: Burda 6990 with the hood from Burda 7916. The eyes, ears and mouth of the panda I cut from black fabric, the line I embroidered.

Tシャツ / T-shirt / T-shirt

普通で「Burda 6820」のパターンを作った。

En als laatste gewoon een lichtpaars t-shirt volgens Burda 6820, zonder aanpassingen.

And last in the list: a simple purple t-shirt without any alterations from the Burda 6820 pattern.

お土産袋の作り方（その２）／Cadeauzakjes maken (2)／Making gift bags (2)

去年はお土産袋の作り方をアップロードした。
長方形の生地があったら、前のお土産袋は良く作れない。
でも、次の袋は作れる！2つのリボンで引っ張って、袋がしめる。
